DOD Manufacturer is seeking an Applications Engineer to join their growing team! Ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding of concept and design processes. Individual must be strong with customer service management, design and project management.

Qualifications:

• Education : BS Engineering

• Military Experience highly preferred

• Experience : 2+ years experience in Sales or Applications Engineering
• Interest in Electrical Products and Sales
• Ability to create and present a project specific presentation
• Technical writing skills
• Computer skills including basic Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Project)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assigned customers in all tasks of support, RFQ, regularly scheduled meeting, customer satisfaction, etc.
• Obtain and maintain confidentiality agreements with customers and vendors as needed
• Project Management
  • Be the customer representative inside of company
  • Understand customer needs and support accordingly
  • Develop concepts and budgetary pricing
  • Developing project specific presentations
  • Develop new offerings to meet customer needs with Management
